WebMDLog

I was playing around on Technorati and found this interesting WebMDLog. An interesting post, very informative. you may have heard the information already, but remember you need to hear something three times before you truly retain and absorb it. You can never have too much knowledge! Check this out. http://blogs.webmd.com/all-ears/2007/05/here-comes-sun-watch-out.html

Hi Chris,

I love your site. You provide a wealth of knowledge and growing resources while including your personal story. The videos are informative and your efforts will continue to educate people about melanoma and treatment options. Thank you for sharing.

This information is critical to help the public to be proactive in preventing sun/xray exposure events that lead to melanoma. The tanning boths are just a glorified xray. Great article.

Last evening I went out to water my flowers and clean the pool--as I began you popped into my head(it was the heat of the sun on my shoulder)--I went in and grabbed the sunscreen--thanks for educating us with your blog. I hope that Kevin is taking it easy while he recovers.

Hi Chris,

While watching this video, I thought of your story and how melanoma has impacted your life and those around you. Melanoma has become very personal to all of us through your research and family update. I have made more of a conscious effort for skin protection because of you. I liked the video of the sentinel node biopsy. Keep us informed. Hope you are okay.

Mary Anne. Mary Lou and Eileen; Thank you all for absorbing what I have shared on my BLOG. Kevin has recovered well. He was a bit "woozy" on Thursday, better on Friday and has been loafing the rest of the weekend. I left him alone this morning, to join a young friend on a trail ride. She just turned 18, the "I know it all" stage of life. We were ready to leave the barn to head for the trails when her mother entered the barn and asked ..."did you apply sunscreen".. she said "no",and then I needed to remind her not to learn things the hard way, "Look what I just went through with Kevin". With that said she did apply sunscreen and off we went. We had a very nice ride and I used the time to bore her with the many facts I have recently learned regarding Melanomas. She is a very bright girl, she wants to be a MD and I know she can easily do it. She will enter the profession with a different understanding of the damage the sun can do. I know I have converted one! That spells success in my book! Enjoy the summer, safely! :)
